VINTAGE PHOTO BOOTH IDENTIFIER
Auto-Photo Model 11

Characteristics: You can’t miss that beautiful blue/green (turquoise?) laminate exterior with beatiful chromed metal and real curved wood accents. While the Model 9 was popular, it wasn’t without it’s problems. This new and improved art deco inspired beauty was truly the first mass-produced model of the era of the original Auto-Photo company’s explosive grown.
Original door was ceramic in a lighter blue green with red and black directions, with the original Auto-Photo branded 25 cent coin slot. The upper flashes are in their own separate compartment, isolated from the camera and mechanicals below.
Other notes: This was the first ever mass-produced photo booth equipped to develop up to 7 strips at a time, which kept lines moving faster than predecessor models. If you search "Beatles Hard Day’s Night photobooth” you will see this booth used in a train station by the band in the open scene of the film.
